Language Instruction for Children, An Investment in the Future
Children have a natural ability to master foreign language learning. As children naturally mimic foreign sounds and, through their natural inquisitive nature retain vocabulary, they are able to develop a capacity for languages more rapidly than most adults. Research shows that children who are exposed to foreign languages at an early age gain higher test scores in reading and language arts, as well as more highly developed mental flexibility.

Scientific evidence also suggests that growing up bilingual is very beneficial for brain development. In fact, children who learn a second language before adolescence are very likely to speak the targeted language with native pronunciation. They too show improved overall school performance, develop superior problem solving skills, have future access to a larger number of careers opportunities, perform better in math and science, and obtain higher test and SAT scores.

The Language Key Children's Program
The Language Key, using children's inherent love of learning, teaches your child conversational fluidity through fun and dynamic class instructional activities along with games, singing, projects, drawing, and music. Children are communicated with in the targeted language starting with the initial class session. Through our practical yet enjoyable multifaceted approach to teaching, children learn Spanish while having fun with their lessons.

Children's classes may be scheduled on an individual basis or parent groups may contact The Language Key in order to arrange for group instruction. The Language Key is happy to work with school, PTA, work, daycare, or other parent groups in order to provide on site instruction for groups of children.

Due to the individualized nature of The Language Key curricula, classes may be scheduled for children of any age.
